Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Buda Austin South, Buda

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were larger than I expected while traveling alone, which made me feel safe, but they were a bit on the small side. However, they were well-equipped with plenty of plugs for electronics, a hairdryer, and all the accoutrements I needed. The service was good, but it felt understaffed, though everything was super clean. The location was okay for my needs, close to restaurants and stores, but it needs updating in terms of food choices and cup sizes. The dining options were limited and disappointed me, especially with the coffee. However, the homemade pizza was a highlight.

I stayed at this hotel during the South by Southwest convention, and it was a great find. The rooms, although smaller, were clean and suitable for the price paid. The location was excellent, with easy access to I-35 and close to charming Buda and various dining options. The dining selection was limited but manageable. The service was top-notch, especially with their assistance in arranging a late checkout.

The hotel's location was convenient for our planned trip and easy to find off I-35. The dining options were a bit limited for a motel in this price range, but the location was accommodating for our needs.
